The HIM group congratulates Mert, Pengrong and Duygu for their new publications and top-of-the-line covers!

The HIM group is very proud to announce that its PhD candidates, Mert Astam, Pengrong Lyu and Duygu Polat, have recently published papers in the Matter, Nature Communications, Chemistry Europe and Extreme Mechanics Letters journals; this is some outstanding productivity! The last journal in this list provided an especially interesting journey for Duygu, since it is one of the first HIM publications in a mechanics journal. We are proud of Duygu’s work, and of how she is expanding the scope of our group!   

You may also have noticed that we mention three PhDs and four journals; this is because Duygu has produced back-to-back publications within two weeks! The HIM group is very proud of Duygu’s astounding productivity! We are also especially proud of the accepted covers of the recent publications; a testament to the creative power of the group! These covers are featured in their respective journals and has caught the eye of many a researcher. The HIM group promises that the scientific community can look forward to more of the signature HIM art and science in the future!
