Anne M. J. Verdurmen obtained her masters degree in Chemical Engineering at the Technical University of Eindhoven, Netherlands. She is interested in liquid crystal actuators which rapidly change shape. Using these actuators she aims to create adaptable connections that can be used for neuromorphic computing. By adding ferroelectric materials the stimuli response can be further improved.
