Xiuhu Zhao received his PhD from South China University of Technology (SCUT, China) in June 2023. His major is Materials Science and Engineering (MSE).
His doctoral research mainly focused on novel ferroelectric nematic (NF) liquid crystals and nonlinear optics.
His research interests include Ferroelectric Materials, Liquid Crystals, Nonlinear Optics, Metamaterials & Metasurfaces, Soft Matters. Especially ferroelectric nematic liquid crystal elastomers (NF-LCE), which is the direction of his current research.
His belief in professional success is “Hard work will finally pay off (天道酬勤)”.
